Thanksgiving break

Well, I just got back to school a few days ago from thanksgiving break. It was a way needed break. I left on tuesday and went straight to my boyfriends house. It had been a month since I last saw him. I was a little afraid of crossing the Blues (a mountain pass between Pendleton and La Grande) but there was nothing to fear. Except FOG. There was a lot of fog. When I called Tony and told him how much fog there was, he laughed cause there wasnt anything in Boise. It was all blue skies and sunny. But who had the last laugh, ME! When I got there at 5:30, wooee! it was REALLY foggy in Boise. But thats ok, I made it home and thats all that counts. We went to see Harry potter on IMAX which was...Amazing! It was a good movie to begin with, then put it on IMAX and its even better. On our way back we stopped to Sportsmans Warehouse. I tried on a few different backpacking packs and we looked at sleeping bags and thermarest mats. If I want to go backpacking, its gonna take a lot of money to get all the gear I need!
The next day I went shopping with my friend shelly for all the groceries i needed to make dinner. I had a lot of fun at costco, where I did my famous "I'm stuck in the milk cooler" routine. It got raving reveiws. I think Ill have to take it on the road some day. But I got all the food I needed and Tony and I set out to my grandmas house. When we got there, I started cooking. I made 2 pumpkin pies, an apple pie, cranberry sause, rolls and I peeled and cut a bunch of veggies. I ended up going to bed around 3:30. Then waking up around 8:30 to put the turkey in at 9. you can safely guess that I was pretty tired that day. And then eating the turkey didnt help. So we had a really good traditional dinner and I must say, I am a darn good cook. Then, my cousin wanted to learn how to dance. So tony and I started to dance. My family was entertained and my cousin really had fun learning to Lindy Hop. Shes a ballet dancer and she does all sorts of other dances, but Lindy is a partner dance and I dont think shes done much of that. It was cool being able to teach HER stuff when its usually her that teaches me dances.
Tony and I left Grandmas house on Friday and we went back to his house. And guess what! It snowed! I love the snow, even driving in it. I dont like it when other people drive in it and they dont know how to. but I dont mind driving or playing in it.
Saturday we went to my parents house and I learned how to play Dominos. (I beat him, though he would never admit to it.) And I made lunch, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Then Tony and I helped my dad move the new fridge in place of the old one and we had to movet the old one and take the doors off the new one to change the hinge so it opens on the right side, then we had to move all the food from the old one into the new one and then dad said there was a small fridge downstairs that needed to be taken outside so we had to do that. Oh! and I forgot, the old fridge had to be moved downstairs too. OYE! using a dolly to move a fridge down a flight of stairs is pretty difficult. But we did it.
After we left my parents house, we went to Wilsons house. Wilson are friends of tonys. They are actually twins but one of em wasnt there. WE hung out with Ryan W and watched a few people play a game of Quarters and get drunk. or at least they were starting to get drunk. Me only being 20 didnt drink. I did play a few rounds, but drank water instead. Its actually a lot of fun.
Sunday, we went to church and then we went to barnes and Noble. Looked at books for a while then we stopped at REI. a happy place for both of us. we really just stopped there to waste time. I had to leave in a bit and it wasnt enough time to do much of anything. but it was fun. We headed back to his house so I could get my stuff together and head out.
well, that was my thanksgiving week and I enjoyed it. It was a well needed break and Im excited for christmas break in 2 weeks.
